About Dr. Cynthia Todd
Dr. Todd is a Nationally Board Certified School
Psychologist (NCSP) and a Nationally Board Certified Counselor (NCC). She
is licensed in the State of Florida as a School Psychologist and Mental
Health Counselor. She is also a Florida Supreme Court Certified
Family Mediator. She holds advanced
degrees in three fields: clinical psychology, special education and
counseling. She has over thirty years of experience working with
children in varied settings and with various school systems. With the
Arlington Public School (APS) in Virginia, Dr. Todd served for
twenty-five years
as a school psychologist, but also was a diagnostic-prescriptive
teacher, a special education teacher, and a counselor for APS.
Concurrently, she served as a consulting psychologist for Facquier
County Schools and was the assessment associate in a private practice in
Reston, Virginia. Dr. Todd has been in private practice in Jupiter,
Florida since 1999. She has served as an adjunct professor for Barry
University teaching developmental psychology. She is a member of the National
Association of School Psychologists, the American Counseling
Association, American Mental Health Counselors Association and the
American Association of Christian Counselors. She has been recognized in
Who's Who in the South and Southwest, Who's Who Among Human Resource
Personnel and Who's Who in Emerging Women Leaders . She has been awarded three mini-grants
by The Washington Post for programs assisting
children. She has been a noted speaker at local and state conferences.
